ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: A very elderly gentleman opened the door as I was about to go in. There was a moment of confusion when I paused to let him pass and he did the same. I solved this by shoving him out the way. This shop used to have an excellent selection of penny sweets, including some amazing little chocolates in foil cups. They no longer sell these sadly, although do still have a fine pick and mix selection.
